The Gathering

Each year in May, Foundation for the Nations (FFTN) hosts the Distribution Gathering. This is more than a meeting; it is a shared expression of mission and generosity. Partners come together to decide how resources are directed to Youth for Christ (YFC) projects across the world.

The Pledge

As a Partner, your commitment begins with a financial pledge, a prayerful decision to dedicate resources to reaching young people for Christ. In advance of the Gathering, YFC nations submit project applications. These are vetted by Regional and Area Directors and then shared with Partners for review.

The Grading

Guided by your personal giving priorities, you grade the applications, weighing factors such as project type (capital, humanitarian aid, vehicles), stage (pioneer or expansion), or geographic focus, and return your completed grading along with your pledge to FFTN.

The grades are then aggregated, and projects are ranked accordingly. A red line is drawn, based on the total pledged by Partners, with projects above the line set to receive funding at the Gathering. Importantly, several projects below the line are also informed of a possibility of funding, as Partners, guided by faith and prayer, often choose to give more than their initial pledge on the day.

The Allocating

At the annual Gathering in May, Partners allocate their pledged funds across the ranked projects, confident that each application has been carefully reviewed. FFTN, with the support of YFC International, manages the operational detail, due diligence, coordination, distribution, and reporting, allowing you to focus on joyful giving and meaningful relational engagement.

The motto “Wealth Into Worth for the World” captures the spirit of the Gathering (as well as FFTN).

By joining the Gathering, you participate in turning resources into eternal impact, ensuring that your giving supports projects that align with your faith and vision.

For you, the Gathering means a chance to see your giving in action, connect with fellow Partners who share the same mission, and take part in stewarding Kingdom resources to places of greatest need.

It is an opportunity to join a community where generosity is multiplied and where every contribution makes a tangible difference in the lives of young people around the world.
