2023 Apps are in!

This year shows a slight increase in the number of applications – up from 110 last year to 120 this time around.

  • Africa – 35.    (31 last year)
  • Americas – 19.    (18)
  • Asia-Pacific – 20.    (20)
  • EMENA – 44.    (40)
  • YFCI – 2.    (1)

These are currently out in summary form to the funding partners.  They are now in the grading process, where they prayerfully read and consider every project.  This is a daunting and difficult task.  Some do it in stages.  One couple has in the past gone away to a hotel so they can concentrate free from the distractions of home.  All of them are seeking the mind of God.

All of them will appreciate your prayers.

The grades from each set of partners are due back with us by the last day of this month, at which time it will become clear which projects are likely to get grants this year and which, unfortunately, are not.  We will then ask the Area Leadership Teams to do Due Diligence reports on those likely to be supported, and we will ask those applicants to provide a 90-second video introducing themselves and their project.

The Distribution Gathering is then planned for May 9-12 in Charleston, South Carolina, USA, and only after that date will applicants know for sure whether they are going to receive a grant, and if so, how much.  Therefore, it is important not to begin a project before then unless you have other money with which to complete it.
